Academic researchers participating in the SPARK NS Translational Research Program recently came together with SPARK NS experts and industry advisors in San Francisco to collaborate, exchange ideas, and share progress on their projects.

Through funding, mentorship, education, and networking opportunities, the SPARK NS Translational Research Program helps scientists worldwide bring their discoveries in neuroscience closer to real-world impact.In interviews recorded at the update meeting, principal investigators working on therapies for Parkinson’s disease shared their perspectives on the impact of working with SPARK NS on their own research.

Looking Ahead

The Call for Proposals for the next cohort of the SPARK NS Translational Research Program will be released in April 2026. Eligible participants are biomedical researchers from academic or nonprofit institutions across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Europe with promising discoveries in Parkinson’s disease and autism. Selected projects participate in the program for two years.
